Job summary

Reevr is seeking a Principal Electronics Engineer to own end-to-end electronics design for advanced products in a small, highly technical team in the UK. The role covers architecture, schematic capture, analogue/digital design and PCB development, with hands-on testing and collaboration with external manufacturers.

Qualifications

• 10 years of hands-on electronics design experience.
• Experience in mixed-signal analogue and digital design.
• Experience with high-sensitivity receiver/detector circuits.
• Strong PCB design experience and ECAD tool proficiency.
• Familiarity with lab equipment and measurement techniques.
• Knowledge of embedded hardware and/or FPGA-based designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead electronics activities across new product design and development from concept to production.
• Own system architecture, schematic capture and PCB development.
• Design and test mixed-signal analogue/digital electronics.
• Develop optoelectronic, sensing and measurement technologies.
• Lead testing, calibration and verification of products and sub-assemblies.
• Support NPI and design for manufacture/test.
• Collaborate with external consultants and contract manufacturers.
• Drive continuous improvement and obsolescence management.
• Provide technical direction to production teams and PCBA partners.
• Lead regulatory certification activities (CE, RoHS, LVD).
