Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead electrical and EICA design for water and wastewater projects across the UK.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary designs, mentor engineers and ensure quality, regulatory compliance and best practice throughout delivery. You will work with project managers and clients in a collaborative environment to shape technical solutions, support growth of the Electrical Engineering capability, and deliver resilient

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status, or working towards registration.
• Experience delivering electrical or EICA engineering solutions in complex infra environments.
• Proven experience leading technical delivery across multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical design principles, specifications and documentation.
• Experience producing and reviewing deliverables like SLDs, control philosophies and reports.
• Excellent communication skills with clients, stakeholders and teams.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of electrical and EICA design solutions across major water and wastewater projects.
• Provide technical guidance throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and internal specialists to deliver innovative solutions.
