Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is recruiting a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Anglian Water @One Alliance. You will provide engineering direction for the electrical discipline and ensure designs meet legislation and project standards.

As Lead Electrical Engineer you will check and review deliverables, mentor junior engineers, foster continuous improvement, and drive the adoption of digital tools and low‑carbon design practices across projects in the UK water sector.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent demonstrated by experience.
• Experience with water-sector assets and capital projects.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards and codes of practice.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction for electrical discipline engineers.
• Review electrical designs, schematics, and contractor submissions for accuracy and compliance.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.
• Lead safety compliance and CDM responsibilities.
• Support digital transformation and value engineering.
