Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking an Electrical Engineer to shape electrical designs for water treatment projects across the UK. You will contribute from concept to commissioning, ensuring electrical aspects are integrated and aligned with client briefs.

You will work with Motor Control Centres, LV distribution, PLCs and SCADA, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to meet programme and budget while travelling to sites within the regional footprint.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Working towards IEng/CEng with a relevant Engineering Institution.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Methodical approach to problem solving.
• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical engineering designs for water treatment equipment on client sites.
• Coordinate with the multidisciplinary design team to meet programme and budget.
• Produce technical specifications and schedules for procurement, reviewing bids and submissions.
• Prepare URS for control systems and attend factory acceptance tests.
• Review existing installed systems to interface with site visits, drawings and reports.
• Engage with the client, manage relationships and support aims.
