Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to lead process design within the Anglian Water @One Alliance. You will provide technical leadership, review critical design documentation and mentor junior engineers while championing safety and sustainability across projects.

Qualifications

• Chartered status or working towards chartership.
• Extensive experience in the water sector, especially process design and capital delivery.
• Thorough knowledge of relevant regulations, standards and environmental requirements.
• Proven mentoring experience with junior engineers.
• Experience in a Design & Build environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the process design workflow to deliver projects on time, within cost, and to quality standards.
• Review mass balances, process sizing, hydraulic calculations, P&IDs, process flow diagrams and other design documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Check construction site design queries and change requests to maintain design integrity and provide prompt responses.
• Support Design Managers with design planning and stakeholder engagement for process design acceptance.
• Provide technical input for supplier contracts and deliverables review.
