Job summary

Equans is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer for its Westminster, London site. The role is full-time and site-based, with day shifts on a 4-on/4-off rotation.

The salary is £52,400 plus benefits, and you will be responsible for maintenance across single- and three-phase systems, acting as the on-site Electrical Authorised Person after training and assessment. You will diagnose faults, source parts, and coordinate with contractors while ensuring safety and compliance with BS7671 and AM1/AM2

Qualifications

  • Experienced in planned preventative and reactive maintenance of electrical infrastructure in building services.
  • Qualified to the 18th Edition and experienced in inspection and testing.
  • Qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ equivalent level, including Level 3 electrical installation engineering.
  • Qualified in installing and commissioning electrotechnical systems, with AM1 and AM2 achievement.
  • Able to complete electrical repairs, Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection and Testing per BS7671.
  • Capable of working independently with good problem solving and safety practices.

Responsibilities

  • Support shutdown planning, projects and contractors within the wider engineering team.
