Equans Sci-Tech is recruiting an Electrical Estimator to join the team in Manchester. You will deliver costed pricing across tenders, collaborating with bid managers and engineers to ensure alignment with project specifications and client requirements.

The role covers the full tender lifecycle from pre-qualification through submission, with a focus on accuracy, auditable data, and competitive proposals in line with company standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar Estimator role within the industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Commercial awareness with experience in M&E subcontractor or main contractor environments.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver fully costed and detailed pricing with auditable back-up data.
  • Review project documents to understand scope and requirements.
  • Review and produce tender documents, drawings, budgets and BOQs.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to align estimates with specs.
  • Prepare prices and forecasts; attend site visits as required.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a close-knit estimating team, contributing to a diverse portfolio of projects across Data Centres, Pharmaceutical / Clean Room Environments, Process Engineering & Industrial Works.As an integral member of the Estimating Team, the Electrical Estimator will be responsible for delivering accurate and high-quality trade pricing.
