Job summary

1000scholars is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join the Department of Nursing as a Senior Lecturer. The postholder will contribute to the delivery, development and enhancement of education across Advanced Practice and prescribing for postgraduate learners from diverse clinical backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Applicants should hold current professional registration with the NMC, HCPC or GPhC, an MSc in Advanced Practice/Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent, and an appropriate independent/supplementary prescribing qualification with current prescribing annotation.
• Substantial recent experience of working at advanced practice level, including autonomous clinical decision-making and prescribing.
• Willingness to contribute across Advanced Practice, non-medical prescribing and related CPD provision.

Responsibilities

• Teach across advanced practice topics and related CPD modules.
• Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance and programme enhancement.
• Deliver education and assessment for postgraduate learners from diverse professional backgrounds.
• Collaborate with academic colleagues, healthcare organisations and clinical teams to support workforce development.
