Edge Hill University invites applications for a Senior Lecturer in Advanced Clinical Practice to lead teaching on MSc Advanced Clinical Practice, including direct-entry and apprenticeship routes, and contribute to MSc Surgical Care Practice and core curriculum.

You will develop clinical skills and simulation teaching, support workplace educators and assessors, and may lead modules, programmes or related projects, while shaping curriculum development, quality assurance and wider enterprise or

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant degree in Advanced Practice or Advanced Clinical Practice, or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience of innovative postgraduate teaching in higher education or clinical practice.
• Substantial experience of teaching, supporting and assessing learners in the workplace throughout their advanced clinical practice journey.
• Contribute to module or programme development, delivery, leadership and quality assurance, together with workplace-based learning and assessment.
• A higher education teaching qualification and Advance HE Fellowship, or a commitment to work towards these, are also required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and lead teaching for MSc Advanced Clinical Practice programmes, including direct-entry and apprenticeship routes.
• Contribute to the MSc Surgical Care Practice programme and core curriculum.
• Lead modules, programmes or related projects and shape curriculum development, CPD and wider enterprise or research activity.
• Support workplace educators and assessors, and contribute to assessment of learners in the workplace.
