Job summary

Swansea University is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join the Department of Nursing as a Senior Lecturer. The postholder will contribute to the delivery and enhancement of postgraduate Advanced Practice and non-medical prescribing education, guiding learners to develop advanced clinical reasoning, decision-making, leadership and prescribing capability.

Qualifications

Current professional registration with NMC/HCPC/GPhC is required.
MSc in Advanced Practice/Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent.
An independent/supplementary prescribing qualification with current prescribing annotation.

Responsibilities

Deliver and develop postgraduate Advanced Practice and prescribing education.
Teach across advanced clinical assessment, clinical reasoning, decision-making, prescribing, leadership and CPD.
Support curriculum development, quality assurance and programme enhancement.
Collaborate with academic colleagues, healthcare organisations and clinical teams to support education and workforce development.
