Job summary

Swansea University is seeking an experienced Senior Lecturer in Advanced Practice to join the Department of Nursing at St David's Park, Carmarthen. You will deliver and develop education across Advanced Practice, non-medical prescribing and CPD, teaching postgraduate learners from diverse clinical backgrounds to build advanced clinical capabilities, including prescribing.

Qualifications

• Current professional registration with NMC, HCPC or GPhC.
• MSc in Advanced Practice/Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent.
• Independent/supplementary prescribing qualification with current prescribing annotation.
• Substantial recent experience at advanced practice level, including autonomous clinical decision-making and prescribing.
• Able to contribute across Advanced Practice, non-medical prescribing and related CPD provision.

Responsibilities

• Teach and support postgraduate learners across Advanced Practice, non-medical prescribing and CPD modules.
• Contribute to delivery, development and enhancement of education for advanced practice and prescribing.
• Collaborate with academic colleagues, healthcare organisations and clinical teams to support high-quality education and workforce development.
• Support curriculum development, quality assurance and programme enhancement in response to professional standards and workforce priorities.
• Work with stakeholders to support high-quality education and workforce development.
