Job summary

1000scholars seeks an experienced academic to deliver core theoretical and clinical education across NMC approved nursing programmes and related PG health courses. The role requires an NMC registrant background and the ability to act as Academic Assessor for undergraduate nursing students.

Design and deliver teaching across UG/PG programmes, including online formats, contribute to curriculum development, and mentor students and staff as required. A PhD and HEA fellowship are highly valued.

Qualifications

PhD in relevant discipline or equivalent professional clinical and/or teaching experience.
HE teaching qualification or equivalent (e.g. PGCert) and/or Associate Fellow of HEA.
Experience designing and delivering learning activities at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including online/digital programmes.

Responsibilities

Design, deliver, assess and evaluate teaching and learning activities across UG/PG programmes, including online/digital delivery.
Contribute to curriculum review and enhancement to support student learning with evidence-based scholarship.
Enhance teaching quality and programme development by applying leading HE practices.
Develop new and effective teaching methods and materials to engage students.
