Job summary

Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced educator to lead the development, design and delivery of a new academic programme for enhanced level of practice. The role shapes the future workforce by guiding learners to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours for enhanced clinical decision making and person-centred care.

Qualifications

1st Level Registered Nurse with NMC registration or Allied health professional with HPCP registration.
Degree level education in Nursing or related subject.
Postgraduate qualification in related subject (Masters).
Higher Education teaching qualification or pursuing PGCE within 12 months.
Non Medical prescribing required for programmes related to prescribing.
Higher Education Academy Fellowship status.
Professional Nursing Advocate.

Responsibilities

Lead the development, design and delivery of education for practitioners at enhanced level of practice.
Support learners through coaching, mentoring and professional support.
Collaborate with clinical services to identify workforce development needs and educational priorities.
Act as an expert resource for enhanced clinical practice and clinical skills development.
Maintain clinical competence and professional credibility through ongoing practice and CPD.
