Job summary

GM Performance Power Units seeks an experienced engineer to drive integration and optimization of the MGU within a hybrid powertrain. You will lead cross-disciplinary teams across electromagnetics, mechanical design, thermal, and controls to maximize power density and race reliability.

You will oversee prototype development, dynamometer testing programs, and data-driven iterations, ensuring compliance with FIA F1 regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Master's/PhD preferred for senior roles in motorsport power units.
• Experience with rotor-stator integration and high-speed dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-disciplinary teams to integrate and optimize MGU in hybrid powertrain.
• Oversee prototype development, dyno testing, and data-driven iterations.
• Direct design reviews, FMEA, and FIA F1 regulatory compliance.
