Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a Lead Data Security Engineer in the UK to shape our data protection strategy. You will drive secure data handling, encryption, masking and data governance across a cloud-native platform serving millions of customers.

You will partner with data and engineering teams, implement automated guardrails, and ensure security is a driver of product quality and velocity.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience implementing data security controls (DSPM, DLP, encryption, access governance).
• Cloud data security in production environments, including object storage security.
• Strong automation and scripting to translate security goals into code and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the security North Star for data across the platform.
• Embed automated checks into CI/CD pipelines and IaC workflows.
• Design scalable data protection, encryption, masking and data lineage solutions.
