Job summary

Qualifications

• Hands-on data security controls like DSPM, DLP, data classification, encryption, or access governance.
• Strong automation and scripting skills transforming security goals into code and remediation scripts.
• Experience embedding automated security checks into CI/CD pipelines with developers and data engineers.
• Practical cloud data security experience, including object storage security.
• Knowledge of GDPR and handling of sensitive data.
• Strong ethics, integrity and safeguarding of information.

Responsibilities

• Partner with data teams to understand data handling and risk profiles.
• Build secure solutions with data teams through collaborative engineering.
• Identify recurring issues and fix systemic vulnerabilities with central security engineering.
• Bridge security standards with real-world data practices for aligned insights.
• Design, build, and maintain automated workflows to detect data security risks at scale.
• Deploy continuous monitoring, guardrails, and auto-remediation across cloud environments.
• Engineer CI/CD gates and IaC baselines to prevent data leaks.
• Support rollout of encryption, masking, data discovery, classification, and access governance.
• Secure LLM/AI pipelines by guarding against prompt injection and tracking data lineage.
• Prioritise DSPM findings and document tools to enable a Security-as-Code mindset.
