Qualifications

• Deep hands-on technical skills in data security including DSPM, DLP, data classification, encryption, or access governance.
• Strong automation and scripting skills with ability to translate security goals into code and remediation scripts.
• Experience embedding automated security checks into CI/CD pipelines with developers and data engineers.
• Practical cloud data security experience, including object storage security.
• Solid understanding of GDPR and its implications for data handling.
• Strong ethics and integrity in handling sensitive information and setting team standards.
• Collaborative approach to security governance and embedding security into development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Work directly inside data teams as an embedded security partner to understand building processes, data handling, and risk profiles.
• Build secure solutions alongside data teams through collaborative engineering rather than prescriptive requirements.
• Identify recurring issues and collaborate with central security engineering to fix systemic vulnerabilities.
• Design, build, and maintain automated workflows to detect and remediate data security risks at scale.
• Deploy monitoring, guardrails, and auto-remediation scripts across cloud environments.
• Engineer CI/CD gates and infrastructure-as-code baselines to stop data leaks before deployment.
• Support encryption, masking, data discovery, classification, and access governance rollout.
• Secure LLM and AI pipelines by guarding against prompt injection and tracking data lineage.
• Prioritize Wiz and DSPM findings to implement fixes and document tools for a Security-as-Code mindset.
