Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The Role

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team to achieve their best, while driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a positive environment where your team feels cared for and valued, celebrating successes and nurturing talent.
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and safety.
  • Manage kitchen standards related to food quality, health and safety, and financial performance including gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.
  • Build and develop your team through effective recruitment and ongoing training, fostering personal and professional growth.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, capable of making quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
What We Look For
  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a caring and considerate approach.
  • Proven ability to maintain high standards in food safety and hygiene.
  • Understanding of kitchen financials, including GP and stock control.
  • Ability to manage labour costs and adapt to changing demands.
