Job summary

Yorkshire Water is seeking a Lead Content Designer to join the Digital team and help deliver high‑quality, user‑centred content across yorkshirewater.com and Kelda Group sites. You will champion content design, accessibility and our brand tone, while coaching colleagues to raise standards.

In a collaborative, cross‑functional setup, you’ll create, edit and publish content using Umbraco, map customer journeys, develop content requirements from research and ensure SEO-friendly content that helps

Qualifications

• Experience creating clear, accessible content for digital journeys using insights.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading with high attention to detail.
• Creative mindset with ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management to influence diverse audiences.
• Experience managing content plans in a CMS.
• Good understanding of SEO best practices for digital content.
• Analytical, data-driven approach to improving customer experiences.
• Collaborates with developers, UX/UI designers and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Advocate for customers ensuring needs at heart of content decisions.
• Collaborative team player aligned with Yorkshire Water values.
