Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to lead clean water process design across UK projects, including Cardiff and other major locations. You will provide technical direction from concept through implementation, working with civil, mechanical, electrical and environmental teams to deliver integrated water treatment solutions.

You will mentor engineers, contribute to bids and frameworks, and help drive asset optimisation and long-term water resource resilience in a dynamic,

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in clean water or wastewater process engineering.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary projects and provide technical direction.
• Strong knowledge of UK water industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of clean water process solutions.
• Develop designs, mass balances, hydraulic assessments and specs.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Support bids, frameworks and client relationships.
• Contribute to asset optimisation and strategic water resources.
