Job summary

Markel International is seeking a data-driven Claims Analytics Lead to shape the analytics roadmap and partner with International Claims and other teams. You will build and test models, work with data across claims, policy, exposure and finance, and translate insights into practical tools for claims, underwriting and reserving decisions.

The role blends technical delivery with strong commercial and stakeholder skills, delivering practical use cases in forecasting, resource planning and lifecycle

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with claims analytics in general/medical insurance or London Market.
Experience building and evaluating statistical or ML models in a commercial setting.
Ability to extract structured information from unstructured notes and reports.

Responsibilities

Own and develop the Claims Analytics roadmap with International Claims.
Lead analytics work on priority use cases from data assessment to model delivery.
Turn analytical work into practical tools and recommendations for claims teams.
