Markel International is seeking a senior Claims Analytics professional to shape the analytics roadmap and lead the delivery of data-driven insights for claims leadership. You will work across data platforms to build and test models, including forecasting and resource planning, and translate results into practical decisions for underwriting and operations.

Partner with Claims MI and data teams to ensure analytics are embedded in regular business processes, with clear governance and impact.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in claims analytics within general insurance.
• Hands-on data science with Python or R and SQL.
• Experience with text data and NLP techniques.
• Track record of embedding analytics into decision-making.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Own and develop the Claims Analytics roadmap with International Claims.
• Lead analytical work from data assessment through to model testing.
• Combine claims, policy, exposure and financial data to model performance.
• Develop forecasting, resource planning, triage, recoveries and lifecycle analysis.
• Turn insights into practical tools and guidance for claims teams and leadership.
