Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Principal Civil Water Engineer to lead delivery of intricate water infrastructure projects in the UK. You will guide a Civil Water team and collaborate across disciplines to achieve milestones while supporting bid proposals.

Based in Manchester or other UK offices, you will mentor junior engineers, apply risk and QA processes, and work with clients and contractors across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered or Incorporated Civil Engineer.
• Proven experience coordinating or managing Civil Water design delivery within a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Experience collaborating with Contractors and delivering across full project lifecycles.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment, QA, design management, and collaboration with MEICA, structures, and geotechnics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate or manage a team of Civil Water engineers for delivery of design work on complex projects.
• Produce and review technical deliverables and scopes of work.
• Provide technical input into Civil Water design deliverables and manage time and budgets.
