Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Civil Water Engineer to join the Design & Advanced Technology Practice in the UK. The role focuses on leading water infrastructure design, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and delivering high-quality technical deliverables across projects domestically and internationally.

You will work within a hybrid model (3 days in office/site) and contribute to bid proposals, risk assessment, and quality assurance while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with clients

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• Chartered or Incorporated Civil Engineer preferred.
• Experience coordinating Civil Water design in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Strong knowledge of design codes, risk management and CDM regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate or manage a team of Civil Water engineers for complex projects.
• Produce and review technical deliverables: reports, drawings, calculations.
• Provide input into project design deliverables and manage time/budgets.
• Collaborate with clients and other AtkinsRéalis teams to deliver solutions.
• Mentor junior colleagues and grow Civil Water capabilities locally.
• Support bid proposals with technical input and risk assessments.
• Work with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated designs.
• Adhere to QA standards including check/review of work.
