Job summary

Agincare seeks an Ofsted Registered Manager to lead a new not-for-profit children's residential home, overseeing day-to-day operations in a setting that supports children with learning disabilities and complex needs. You will build and develop the team, ensure safeguarding and regulatory compliance, and drive outstanding outcomes for the children from the outset.

You will establish care delivery, supervise staff, and implement robust documentation and care planning while aligning with the Care

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in childrens residential care, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations, and relevant legislation in childrens services.
• Experience in planning and implementing care plans and maintaining documentation to a high standard in line with Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
• Experience supporting children and young people with learning disabilities who may display complex behaviours.
• Experience leading Ofsted home inspections.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the childrens residential home.
• Support teams of Support Workers and Senior Support Workers.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Develop and embed best practices across the home from the outset.
• Act as corporate parent to the children in care.
