Job summary

Platform Housing Group’s Platform Property Care seeks a Lead Engineer – Carpentry in Worcestershire. You will carry out carpentry repairs and lead quality standards across a multi-skilled team.

The role focuses on hands-on trade work while coaching colleagues, assessing competence, supporting apprentices, and promoting best practice within our Property Care teams. DBS required and a full driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry.
• Significant carpentry experience in building trades.
• Experience working in occupied domestic properties.

Responsibilities

• Carry out carpentry repairs and maintenance in homes and communal areas.
• Manage jobs from inspection through to completion with strong customer service.
• Coach, mentor and develop colleagues and apprentices.
