Platform Property Care is seeking a skilled Multi Skill Trades Carpenter to work across Bromyard, Ledbury, Malvern and surrounding areas, joining the Repairs & Maintenance team to keep homes in excellent condition. The role prioritises carpentry but cross-trade work is common, with Voids Refurbishments as part of duties.

You will be mobile to client homes, require a driving licence and DBS check, and benefit from a supportive team and opportunities for overtime.

Formación

• Experience of working for a Social Landlord, housing association or council.
• Experience delivering multi-trade work.
• Full current driving licence.
• DBS check.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and repair homes to a high standard.
• Deliver Voids Refurbishments across properties.
• Carry out multi-trade tasks including carpentry, plumbing, plastering and tiling as needed.

Platform Property Care need an experienced Multi Skill Trades Carpenter based in Bromyard, Ledbury, Malvern and the surrounding area to join our talented Repairs & Maintenance team and help us maintain and improve our homes, ensuring our customer's homes are maintained and repaired to a great standard.

You will be a Multi Skill Trades Carpenter and carpentry will be your focus, but experience in other trades is an advantage, as you will be delivering Voids Refurbishments.

The role is varied. No two days will be the same and you will meet a wide range of customers along the way. It's a tough task and our expectations are high. In return, you'll have the support of a great team.

A team player, you'll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You'll be working in people's homes, so you'll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication and customer service skills. You'll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering work right first time., Experience of working as a Carpenter in the building trade either as a Carpenter or as a multi-skilled Carpenter

Requirements & Experience

• -Experience of working for a Social Landlord, housing association or council
• -Associated trade skills of plumbing, plaster patching, decorating and wall tiling
• -Experience of delivering multi-trade work
• -Good organisational skills
• -Experience of keeping jobs on track
• -The drive to ensure works are completed quickly and efficiently
• -Good IT Skills. Experienced using a PDA. Experience of using Microsoft and Outlook email.
• -Full current valid driving Licence essential as this is a mobile role
• -As you will be working within Customer's homes this role requires a DBS check.

There is also the opportunity to earn additional from being on the out of hours rota, which is required., This role is mobile, so it is essential you have a current valid driving licence. Unfortunately, we cannot progress applications from applicants who do not hold this.

Basic salary of £36,848 per annum (depending on experience) plus opportunity to earn more from out of hours and voluntary overtime
