Job summary

Platform Property Care is seeking three Lead Engineers - Electrical in Worcestershire to deliver high-quality electrical services in customers' homes and communal areas. You will lead electrical work, mentor colleagues and ensure safe, compliant practices.

You will act as a technical expert, drive standards, and support apprentices. A full UK driving licence and a DBS check are required for this mobile role across our Property Care teams.

Qualifications

• Completed Electrical apprenticeship or NVQ L3 with City & Guilds L3 in Electrical Install, Commissioning & Certification.
• City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent for Inspection & Testing.
• AM2 qualification.
• 18th Edition regulation knowledge and competence.
• DBS check required due to home visits.
• A valid UK driving licence is essential for this mobile role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of electrical repairs, testing, inspection and maintenance work within customers' homes and communal areas.
• Manage jobs from inspection through to completion with excellent customer service.
• Coach, mentor and develop colleagues and apprentices.
• Sign off colleagues against multi-skill framework and support End Point Assessments (EPA).
• Promote trade standards and best practice across Platform Property Care.
• Support Learning & Development teams on training initiatives.
• Conduct trade audits, reviews and quality assessments to ensure compliance.
• Act as a technical expert and escalation point for trade queries.
• Monitor industry developments and legislation to drive continuous improvement.
