Platform Housing Group is searching for a Lead Engineer - Plumbing to join Platform Property Care in Worcestershire. The role combines hands-on plumbing repairs with coaching colleagues, assessing competence, and promoting best practice across teams.

You will manage jobs from inspection to completion, support apprentices, and ensure health and safety standards while delivering excellent customer service to residents.

Qualificações

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification.
• Significant experience as a Plumber within the building trade.
• Experience working in occupied domestic properties.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• Experience recording accurate job information using mobile devices.
• Good IT and digital skills.
• Ability to coach, support and develop colleagues.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Experience in social housing, local authority or housing association.
• DBS check required.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out a wide range of plumbing repairs and maintenance in homes and communal areas.
• Manage jobs from inspection through to completion with excellent customer service.
• Support colleagues through coaching, mentoring and skills development.
• Assess and sign off colleagues against the multi-skill framework and support EPA.
• Promote trade standards and best practice across Platform Property Care.
• Work with Learning & Development teams to support training and upskilling initiatives.
• Conduct trade audits, reviews and quality assessments to ensure compliance.
• Act as a technical expert and escalation point for trade queries.
• Monitor industry developments to support continuous improvement.
