Job summary

Rexel UK is seeking a Lead Branch Manager to support the Area Branch Manager, coach the team, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards while driving growth and customer satisfaction across the branch.

You will monitor key metrics, manage customer accounts, pricing and terms to protect profitability, identify training needs, work with supply chain and finance, and prepare regular performance reports; you may step in for the Area Branch Manager as

Qualifications

• Strong negotiation and communication skills to engage with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coach and motivate branch team and oversee day-to-day operations to ensure growth and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor metrics (quote conversion, overrides, inventory) to drive improvements and protect profitability.
• Manage customer accounts, pricing and terms; resolve operational or customer issues.
• Identify training needs and support promotional activities; collaborate with supply chain and finance.
• Prepare regular performance reports and, when needed, cover the Area Branch Manager.
