Job summary

Nexus Life Sciences in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced MS Method Development Lead to drive the development and validation of LCMSMS bioanalytical methods under GxP standards. This role combines technical expertise with strategic leadership to guide a dedicated team.

You will lead method development, optimise extraction and chromatography, and ensure GLP compliance while supporting regulatory submissions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, or related field.
• 4+ years in a GxP laboratory with 2+ years in management.
• Experience with HPLC/UPLC/LCMSMS and chromatography data systems.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead method development and validation as SME.
• Optimize extraction, chromatography, and LC columns.
• Manage and mentor the MD&V team.
• Ensure GLP compliance and regulatory readiness.
• Draft and transfer validated methods to teams.
• Support regulatory submissions and audits.
• Drive CAPA and continuous improvement.
• Lead team meetings and staff development sessions.
