Job summary

Nexus Life Sciences in the United Kingdom seeks an MS Method Development Lead to drive the development and validation of LCMSMS bioanalytical methods under GxP standards. This role combines technical expertise with team leadership.

You will lead the Method Development & Validation team, optimise extraction and chromatography, ensure GLP compliance, support regulatory submissions, and mentor staff in a cutting‑edge bioanalytical lab.

Qualifications

Degree in Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, or related field.
GxP laboratory experience with supervisory responsibility is required.

Responsibilities

Lead method development and validation as a subject matter expert.
Optimise analytical extraction techniques, chromatography methods, and LC columns.
Mentor the Method Development & Validation team.
Ensure GLP compliance, SOP adherence, and regulatory alignment.
Troubleshoot methods and implement improvements.
Oversee cost-effective lab operations and consumables spend.
Write and approve Methods of Analysis and transfer validated methods to teams.
Support regulatory submissions and respond to inquiries.
Conduct investigations, implement CAPAs, and drive continuous improvement.
Prepare, review GLP SOPs and lead team meetings and staff development.
