Job summary

The David Ross Education Trust is seeking an Alternative Provision Coordinator Lead to support students at risk of exclusion. You will coordinate effective interventions and work with teachers, parents and external agencies to promote engagement and achievement.

This permanent, full-time role is 37 hours per week, 39 weeks a year (Term Time Only). A commitment to safeguarding and GCSE/NVQ2 English and Maths is required, with excellent interpersonal skills essential for working with diverse

Qualifications

• GCSE/NVQ level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths.
• Experience of working with children or young adults in an education setting and liaising with external agencies.
• Experience liaising with professionals on child protection matters would be beneficial.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with parents, scholars, staff and the wider community.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interventions for students at risk of exclusion to promote engagement and achievement.
