Job summary

The David Ross Education Trust is recruiting an Alternative Provision Coordinator Lead to support students at risk of exclusion and those already excluded. You will coordinate targeted interventions and ensure access to high-quality learning through collaboration with teachers, parents and external agencies.

Working 37 hours per week during term-time, you will help develop engaging strategies that promote student engagement, achievement and a secure sense of identity across Years 7 to 11 within

Qualifications

• GCSE/NVQ level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths.
• Experience of working with children or young adults in an education setting is desirable.
• Experience liaising with external agencies and professionals on child protection matters would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interventions for students at risk of permanent exclusion or who are already excluded.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and external support agencies to implement strategies.
• Promote student engagement and achievement through high-quality learning opportunities.
