Job summary

The David Ross Education Trust seeks an Alternative Provision Coordinator Lead to work with students at risk of exclusion, coordinating interventions and ensuring access to high-quality learning. You will collaborate with teachers, parents and external agencies to promote engagement and achievement.

This is a permanent role, 37 hours a week over 39 weeks per year (term time only). The role emphasises safeguarding, partnerships, and delivering a high calibre education across our academies.

Qualifications

• GCSE/NVQ level 2 in English and Maths is required or equivalent.
• Experience of working with children or young adults in an education setting is beneficial.
• Experience liaising with external agencies and professionals on child protection matters would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate effective interventions for students at risk of permanent exclusion.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and external support agencies to implement strategies that promote engagement and achievement.
• Ensure access to high-quality learning opportunities and monitor progress.
