Job summary

The David Ross Education Trust is seeking an Alternative Provision Coordinator Lead to support students at risk of exclusion by coordinating targeted interventions and facilitating access to high‑quality learning opportunities.

You will work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to implement strategies that promote engagement and achievement, in a permanent term-time role of 37 hours per week across 39 weeks.

Qualifications

• GCSE/NVQ level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths.
• Experience of working with children or young adults in an education setting.
• Experience liaising with external agencies and professionals on child protection matters.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interventions for students at risk of exclusion and ensure access to high-quality learning.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and external support agencies to implement strategies promoting engagement and achievement.
• Work within safeguarding policies and promote welfare across all activities.
