Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Van Technician to join one of the UK's leading fleet organisations at their Derby workshop. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a Vehicle Technician / Van Technician who wants stability, progression, and a supportive working environment.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain light commercial vehicles, carry out servicing and MOT preparation, and enjoy a 7:30am–4:30pm schedule, no weekends, with a £1,500

Qualifications

• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (NVQ / City & Guilds / IMI)
• Minimum three years' workshop experience
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of Light Commercial Vehicles
• Carry out mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic work
• Complete routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance
• Prepare vehicles for MOT
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
• Maintain accurate job cards and service documentation
• Work collaboratively within a skilled workshop team

Salary: DOE + £1,500 Sign-On Bonus
