Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for you to be responsible for the expansion and management of our portfolio in East Sussex and Kent, involved in the full asset lifecycle from initial site identification, negotiation, and land/site acquisition. You will lead a professional team through planning, obtaining consents, supporting construction, and ongoing asset management.

You will develop relationships with landlords, tenants, local authorities, agents, and developers. This role involves ownership of the full development and planning process from concept to completion, requiring excellent communication and negotiation skills, multi-tasking, and meeting tight deadlines.

Please note, you will be expected to work at our Gravesend (Northfleet) Property Office or in your patch a minimum of 3 days per week.

Note: To align with company structure, this role is called Senior Acquisitions Consultant internally.

What you'll do

• Identify, negotiate, and acquire freehold and leasehold deals for new stores.
• Conduct site inspections, development appraisals, and manage due diligence.
• Manage the planning application lifecycle.
• Lead expansion, relocation, and infrastructure projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with authorities and stakeholders.
• Drive the full development and planning process from concept to completion.
• Manage real estate assets.

What you'll need

• A self-starting attitude and drive to succeed.
• Degree-level education (minimum 2:2), ideally in a relevant discipline.
• Experience in retail acquisitions, land buying, or commercial property.
• MRICS qualification (preferred).
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Analytical mindset and multi-tasking ability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Full driving license and willingness to travel across the UK.
