Job summary

A reputable materials manufacturing company in Nottinghamshire is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. This role offers a basic salary of £28,000 per year, along with a generous bonus of up to 3 months' salary based on performance. Responsibilities include preparation and testing of raw materials and ensuring accurate data entry. Qualifications

  • Previous laboratory testing experience through qualification or practical work experience.
  • A logical and methodical approach to work.
  • Strong awareness of Health & Safety in a laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and grinding of raw materials such as aggregates, water, soil and sand.
  • Sample making and preparation, physical laboratory testing.
  • Instrumental chemical analysis testing.
  • Accurate data input into a computerised laboratory management system.
  • General laboratory duties as directed by the management team.
