Job summary

Serco is recruiting a Learning & Development Designer for AFRS. The role designs and maintains learning solutions (blended, eLearning, videos) aligning with DSAT and business needs for AFRS civilian and service personnel.

You will work with SMEs and the L&D team from scoping to deployment, leveraging Articulate/Rise/Vyond and LMS platforms, with hybrid working arrangements and clear progression opportunities within an expanding AFRS capability.

Qualifications

• Experience with digital learning tools (Articulate, Rise, Vyond) and LMS familiarity.
• Knowledge of e-learning platforms and practices.
• User-centered content design approach.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and LMS.
• Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Organizational skills with a business-oriented mindset.
• Understanding of L&D models and theories.
• Strong course design and digital learning tool knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain high-quality learning solutions for AFRS civilian staff and service personnel.
• Scope, design and create training material including systems training, eLearning, videos, workshops.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure learning meets business needs and outcomes.
• Work with delivery leads and the L&D team from scoping to delivery.
• Advise on blended learning approaches, from guides to eLearning to face-to-face workshops.
• Ensure content quality meets external standards and DSAT alignment.
• Maintain knowledge of learning experiences to stay current.
