Job summary

Raytheon UK in the United Kingdom is seeking a Training Designer to join the Royal Navy Training Design Service at HMS Raleigh. This onsite role focuses on delivering blended learning that is engaging, accessible and aligned with DSAT and DSAT.

The role demands experience in Learning and Development, ADDIE and DSAT methodologies, and instructional design, with collaboration across subject matter experts. The position offers a 37-hour week, flexible working options, and industry leading training

Qualifications

• Experience in Learning and Development in a defence context.
• Knowledge of ADDIE and DSAT methodologies.
• Experience in Training / Instructional Design.
• Familiar with program management tools and applications.
• Knowledge of UK Ministry of Defence procedures.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team to develop solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality training design, e-learning and courseware.
• Develop courseware using a variety of media and technology.
• Contribute to instructional strategy and implement changes to training programmes.
• Proactively seek feedback and impact stories to improve courses.
• Build strong relationships with subject matter experts.
• Identify accreditation opportunities for new or amended training.
• Commit to continual professional development and safety.
