Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a Training Designer to lead the development of training content and courseware for defence-related programs at Faslane. You will apply DSAT and ADDIE methodologies to produce engaging, learner-centric materials while collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders.

The role involves hybrid work options, a strong emphasis on quality, and opportunities to contribute to training transformation across UK Defence programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in Learning and Development environments.
• Familiarity with ADDIE and Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT).
• Experience in Training and/or Instructional Design.
• Knowledge of program management tools and applications.
• Knowledge of UK Ministry of Defence procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for training courses assigned to you within training transformation.
• Create engaging, inclusive, learner-centric training content.
• Ensure end-to-end training design processes comply with DSAT and quality standards.
• Address challenges affecting delivery timelines.
• Develop high-quality training design, e-learning and courseware materials as required.
• Design training courseware using diverse media and technology.
• Contribute to instructional strategy and implement effective training methods.
• Incorporate feedback and validation changes into training design.
