Job summary

Forth Ports is seeking a Learning & Development Coordinator to support talent, succession and development activities across the ports. You will manage talent and learning data, produce reports, and coordinate development programmes while ensuring systems run smoothly.

Based at Port of Leith, Rosyth or Grangemouth, the role requires strong Excel, data analysis and LMS administration skills, with occasional travel across Scottish ports and close collaboration with the Head of Learning &

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel and data reporting skills.
• Experience with LMS and talent management systems.
• Proficient in Power BI and data visualization.
• Strong stakeholder management and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies.
• UK driving licence; occasional travel across ports.
• Full UK working rights.

Responsibilities

• Produce regular talent, succession and learning reports and dashboards.
• Analyse programme participation, feedback, and impact data.
• Support talent review and succession planning with data preparation and reporting.
• Create and maintain reports to support workforce planning and organisational development.
• Act as SME and primary administrator for the LMS (Learn and Perform).
• Conduct regular data audits to maintain data quality and governance.
• Support implementation and improvement of talent and learning technologies.
• Coordinate development programmes (PDR, talent, leadership, graduates).
• Manage scheduling, communications, attendance, and logistics for programmes.
• Support programme evaluation and maintain learning records.
• Liaise with internal and external providers to ensure delivery of activities.
• Provide ongoing support to Head of Learning & Development with ad-hoc projects.
