Job summary

Axcis Education Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Year 3 General Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in PR1, central Preston. The role is full-time term-time and focuses on supporting Year 3 pupils in class and small-group interventions.

The ideal candidate will have primary TA experience, solid KS2 knowledge, excellent communication, and an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service. Salary is from £93-£100 per day, dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a teaching assistant in a primary school.
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly Year 3.
• Ability to support pupils in class and in small group interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
