Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in the BL7 Bolton area. This is a full-time role starting ASAP, supporting pupils across KS2 and assisting the class teacher to foster a positive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a recognised Level 3 TA qualification, have KS2 experience and be able to work well with teachers and support staff. Intervention experience is welcomed but not essential.

Qualifications

• A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Previous experience working within a mainstream primary school.
• Strong KS2 experience.
• Experience supporting pupils with their learning and development.
• The ability to work effectively alongside teachers and other support staff.
• A patient, nurturing and positive approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Intervention experience is welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across the school.
• Help to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Support pupils with their learning and development across KS2.
