Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. are partnering with a friendly primary school in the LA4 area to recruit a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant.

This full-time role starts January 2027 and offers a competitive hourly rate of £14.25–£15.00, depending on experience, with a closing date of 27 November 2026. You will support pupils across Years 3 to 6 inside and outside the classroom, deliver targeted interventions, support differentiated activities, and help create an inclusive, engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children within a primary school setting
• Confident working with pupils across KS2
• Experience delivering interventions or supporting small group learning
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• Patient, enthusiastic and adaptable approach

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across KS2 inside and outside the classroom
• Deliver structured interventions and support differentiated activities
• Foster an inclusive learning environment and encourage engagement throughout the day
