Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant for a full-time role at a Longridge primary school, starting November 2026.

You will support Years 3–6, assist with lesson delivery, reinforce learning in Maths, English and Science, and help create an inclusive, positive classroom environment. The role offers Monday to Friday hours 8:45am-3:30pm and a pay of £14.25 per hour, with potential for a long-term contract through an experienced education

Qualifications

• Has previous experience supporting children within a classroom setting.
• Demonstrates a good understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
• Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Is proactive, reliable and adaptable.
• Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging and effective lessons.
• Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Providing targeted support in core subjects, including Maths, English and Science.
• Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning.
• Assisting with classroom organisation, resources and daily routines.
• Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
