Long Term Futures Ltd is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6) with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and challenging behaviour at a modern two-form entry primary school in Nuneaton. The role involves 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils manage emotions and engage with learning during term-time.

The ideal candidate will have KS2 experience in mainstream or SEN settings, knowledge of EHCPs, and a calm, resilient approach.

Qualificações

• Experience supporting children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH or challenging behaviour.
• KS2 experience in mainstream primary or SEN settings is desirable.
• Calm, patient, and resilient approach to support.
• Knowledge of EHCPs and individual behaviour plans is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Support pupils across Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6) in 1:1 and small-group settings.
• Implement positive behaviour management and de-escalation strategies.
• Support emotional regulation, social interaction and classroom transitions.
• Adapt KS2 learning activities to individual needs.
• Deliver targeted learning and behaviour interventions.
• Support pupils with EHCP targets and individual learning plans.
• Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO and wider support team.
