Job summary

SEND Inclusion Support is recruiting a passionate Nurture Teacher to work with pupils across KS2 and KS3 in a specialist educational setting. The role focuses on a safe, structured and engaging learning environment where students can develop academically, socially and emotionally.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification, have KS2/KS3 experience, and understand SEND/SEMH needs.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching KS2 and/or KS3 with SEND/SEMH understanding.
• Ability to differentiate and adapt learning to individual needs.
• Calm, patient and nurturing approach to pupil wellbeing.
• Able to build strong, consistent relationships with children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated learning across KS2/KS3.
• Adapt teaching to meet diverse learning and SEMH needs.
• Create a calm, nurturing classroom environment.
• Monitor pupil progress and adapt support accordingly.
• Work with teaching assistants, pastoral staff and other professionals.
• Maintain safeguarding standards and pupil wellbeing.
