Job summary

SEND Inclusion Support is seeking a passionate Nurture Teacher to work with pupils across KS2 and KS3 in a specialist educational setting. The role focuses on creating a safe, structured and engaging learning environment where pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally.

The ideal candidate holds QTS and has experience with SEND/SEMH; applications from mainstream teachers with genuine interest in specialist education are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering differentiated learning for diverse learners.
• Strong classroom management and safeguarding skills.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging learning across KS2 and KS3.
• Differentiate to meet SEND/SEMH needs.
• Maintain a calm, nurturing classroom environment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
• Support pupils facing barriers to engagement.
• Monitor progress and adapt support as needed.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and pastoral staff.
• Apply consistent behaviour-management strategies.
• Uphold safeguarding and pupil wellbeing standards.
